- Do I need insurance to rent a car from Automotive Goals?
Yes, full coverage insurance is required. You can use your person car insurance to cover the rental. As long as you have full coverage insurance, your coverage should be able to cover the cost of the rental. Once you send us your insurance documents, we will reach out to your insurance company and confirm that your insurance is transferable to the rental and that it covers the cost of the car. Usually, this will cost you nothing extra and is already included with your personal car insurance.
- What if I do not have personal car insurance?
If you do not have personal car insurance, call or text us and we will be able to provide you with options to rent the car without having the need for personal car insurance.
- Is a Security Deposit Required?
Yes, security deposit is required on each rental. Depending on the car, it can be as low as $500 or as high as $1,000. You will receive this money back in full, as long as you bring the car back in the same condition that you take it out in. That does include, but not limited to Smoking in the car, dents on the car, curb rashes or any other types of damages to the car.
- What kind of payments are accepted?
We accept Cash, Zelle, Venmo, and all Major Credit Cards.
- How old do I have to be to rent a car?
The required rental age is 25 years old. You must have a clean active license. No severe moving violations or DUI.
- Are the cars manual or automatic?
We are always growing our fleet and will usually have a choice. Most cars are going to be automatic. If you prefer to rent a manual car, please let us know and we will check to see if we currently have one available for you.
- Can multiple people drive the same car?
Anyone that wants to drive the car, has to submit their drivers license and proof of personal car insurance.
- How many miles are included in the rental?
Each car comes with 100 miles included in the rental fee. We can work with you and depending on the car we might be able to include more miles at no cost at all. The exact amount of miles allowed for each rental will be included in the contract. If you require more then 100 miles per day, please let us know and we will work with you.
- What happens if I go over the miles that are included in the contract?
We do charge for each additional mile. This amount can be as low as $1.25 per mile or as high as $3.00 per mile. It will depend on the car.
- What happens if I receive a parking or moving ticket during my rental period?
You are responsible for all tickets that you receive while using the car. If you receive a ticket, please let us know. If it is a parking ticket we can use your deposit money to cover the cost of the ticket. If it is a moving ticket, you will have to pay it directly to the court, because this type of ticket goes on your license directly.
- Am I able to rent your cars if I am an international customer?
Yes, we are able to rent to international customers. Please text or call us and we will provide you with options of renting our cars.
- Do you deliver the cars?
Yes, we deliver the cars, right to your door. Anywhere near the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton or West Palm Beach area. Just provide us with your address and we will bring you the car.
- Am I able to pick up the car directly from you?
If you prefer to pick up the car from us, we can make that happen as well. Our headquarters is located in Coconut Creek, FL.
- What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a full refund on all cancellations as long as they are done 48 hours before your rental start time. If cancellation is made after the 48 hours time line, we charge for a full day rental fee and can refund you the remaining balance (if you had a rental set up for more then 24 hours).
- Do I have to fill up the car, before giving it back?
Yes, the car has to come back with a full gas tank. We always make sure that our cars are topped off, before you receive them. This way you receive a car that is ready for travel. We charge $5 per gallon to refuel the tank, if the car comes back with less then full tank. We take this money out of the deposit. Please try to make sure the tank is topped off, this way we do not have to charge anything at all. Please only fill the cars up with 93 Octane.
- Can I drive the car anywhere?
Anywhere in the state of Florida. You are not allowed to leave the state of Florida.
- What are your hours of operation?
We can deliver you the car at anytime as long as you make an advance request. We make things very simple so that the car rental from us is as hassle free as it gets. Let us know your requests and our job will be to make sure we fill them all.
